Prayers are needed

Prayers for a woman is having a stent replaced within the next week. She has diabetes and she also has already had a kidney replaced. Pray that everything goes alright with her surgery and she comes out well. We expect her to but we never know. Another prayer request is for a man that is having a knee replaced. As always your loving brother in Christ.

Please pray for…

Prayers are needed for churches to be able to maintain the same status they already have and so we don’t have to go into hiding to celebrate our religion we have come to enjoy.

Please pray for all those who are in the hospital and those just being discharged from the hospital. May they be comforted in their time of dismay.

Please pray for those that are currently looking for jobs, that they may find a job and be able to retain it.

Please pray for those that do not have any faith at all, may they come to know Christ as we know him.

Please pray for those that are having surgery. May the doctor’s hand be guided by our loving father.

Please pray for any victims and their families of those affected by terrorism.

Please pray for kids to have a safe summer, without many mishaps.

Please pray that overdoses may lessen as well as  abortions.

Prayers are needed

Somebody was in a farm accident and may lose their arm, because that he may lose his whole livelihood. I haven’t heard any updates, but if I hear any updates I will send them along. Please pray that he gets to keep his arm. Please pray that he is not emotionally scarred for the rest of his life from this accident.

Thank you,

Your Brother in Christ,

Jonathan

Vocations Prayer for Priest

Prayer for Vocations

Almighty Father,

You have created us for some definite purpose.

Grant us the grace to know the path

You have planned for us in this life

and to respond with a generous “Yes.”

Make our archdiocese, parishes, homes and hearts

fruitful ground for Your gift of vocations.

May our young people respond to Your call

with courage and zeal.

Stir among our men a desire and the strength

to be good and holy priests.

Bless us with consecrated religious and those called to a

chaste single life, permanent deacons,

and faithful husbands and wives,

who are a sign of Christ’s love for His Church.

We commend our prayer for vocations to You, Father,

through the intercession of Mary our Mother,

in the Holy Spirit,

through Christ our Lord. Amen.
