Sometimes

Sometimes all we have to do is ask and we shall receive. Sometimes if we listen to our hearts God will speak to us. Sometimes its through the Bible, Sometimes you will get an idea and you wonder “where did that come from?”. It came from God Almighty Himself and sometimes it comes out of nowhere. Like I said before, sometimes you have to ask for it. When you ask, He will help. Sometimes you are the lucky one. He freely gives it out, His love. Most of the time you have to ask for it, but God knows already knows what we need before we ask for it. Asking for it though is the best way and sometimes you have to ask for it a lot before it happens. God’s timing is always perfect. Gods’ plan is best. When we try to do it ourselves, He laughs at us and may make us wait even longer. Because we went on our own and tried to do it.

That’s my message for today. God’s timing is perfect.

Love your brother in Christ,

Prayer for Vocations

April 26,  2021

Here are some things that we should always  pray for:  people that are handicapped, an end to abortion, childhood cancer and  those that are under treatment for cancer especially children.

Almighty Father,

You have created us for some definite purpose.

Grant us the grace to know the path

You have planned for us in this life

and to respond with a generous “Yes.”

Make our archdiocese, parishes, homes and hearts

fruitful ground for Your gift of vocations.

May our young people respond to Your call

with courage and zeal.

Stir among our men a desire and the strength

to be good and holy priests.

Bless us with consecrated religious and those called to a

chaste single life, permanent deacons,

and faithful husbands and wives,

who are a sign of Christ’s love for His Church.

We commend our prayer for vocations to You, Father,

through the intercession of Mary our Mother,

in the Holy Spirit,

through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Morning Offering (for Consolers)

Dear Jesus, I know that your Sacred Heart is sorrowful because so many people neither love you nor trust in you. Behold, Lord, here I am. Though weak and sinful, I love you and I trust in you. I intend that all my actions this day be for the purpose of consoling you.

Heavenly Father,  in union with all the Masses being offered today, I give you praise and thanks for the many gifts you will send me, including the gift of my small sharing in the Cross. May this my prayer glorify you and console your Son. With the help of your grace, I resolve to remain all day in this prayerful spirit of praise and thanks and, further, to console Jesus by being merciful to my neighbor through my deeds, words, and prayers.

Mary, my mother, come with your spouse, the Spirit. Make my sacrifice of praise, thanks, and mercy a most pleasing consolation to your Son. Behold, I present to you all I am and have. Take my offering so it may pass through your Immaculate Heart, to Jesus’ Sacred Heart, and on to the Father, for his greater glory. Amen.

Please pray for all the martyrs that have the courage to stick up for their faith. I know they are saints. They are absolute heroes in my eyes. They are even more important than priests. They have the absolute courage to stick up for their faith when it really counted. Most of them lost their lives for one another, like Jesus taught us to do. I don’t know if I would have the courage to do that, I would like to think I would.

I just wanted to remind everybody that without priests we would not have our one true creator present in the Eucharist. So let us celebrate priests every time we take part in the Last Supper, because it truly is the Last Supper. When the priest consecrates the Eucharist  he is acting in persona Christi. Which brings the Last Supper into existence at the current moment in time for the people at the mass. So don’t you think we should learn more about priests and their current vocation in life.  I think so. Maybe then we would feel like encouraging more young men to become priests and deacons. That would allow more people to become part of the mass.
