Do we know what the true meaning of Christmas is?

We have to remember it’s not giftswe need, it’s gifts we want.  God says “we shall not want”.  When you are giving that present to your friend or loved one, you are just like one of the three Wisemen baring gifts of their gratitude to baby Jesus.  You and your friends or loved ones are just place holders for those individuals 2,000 years ago.  We need to think about the true meaning at Christmas.  Not what gift we are getting or giving.  We are actually receiving gifts for our Lord, Jesus Christ himself.   Don’t forget the true meaning of Christmas.  It is to celebrate Jesus birthday, not a holiday to see how many gifts we can get as well as if one can be outdone by pricey means.  It is just to share our love for one another, one of the ways to do that is to exchange gifts.  But, we truly don’t have to do that to show our love for one another.  We should just be happy to spend time with one another.

All I can think of today as I write this message is something I heard one of my best friends say yesterday was what he wanted for Christmas which is world peace.  I want all the wars to end as well as world peace.  I also would like to see one another treated as our brothers and sisters.  I am truly not a taker, I am a giver.  So in my last closing remark, I want to know what you are.  Are you a giver? or a taker?  Do you want everything or what you just need to survive?  I am one of those that has everything I want, but I could live without it.  Are you one of those that can’t live without your material goods?  Are you one of those that needs to know who won the Ohio State/ Michigan game?  Or are you one of those that could care less, like me?  As long as I have family and somebody that loves me, I don’t care what kind of show I have on t.v.  I don’t even care what kind of music I listen to, and so on, and so on.  May peace be with you,

Why put guns in school?

Why put guns in schools?

Guns in schools are stupid.  Why not put the bible back in schools?  The bible is what people need, I don’t care what religion you are.  The living word is the living word, I can’t say that enough.  When you read the bible it’s like reading a love note from Jesus Christ himself.  I know a lot of people don’t believe but so what.  Some people have to be shown they have to be lead to God by something why not let it be the school?  Why did we ever separate church and sate anyways?  Instead of saying church and state we might as well say church and school and some other stuff too, but the main one is school.  If you know what I mean.  Maybe we wouldn’t have all the crime in the world.  Maybe we would have no crime, that’s wishful thinking.  But, that’s what I hope for and pray for every day. The biggest way the government has their hand in church is they try to make us pay for things we don’t believe in, such as abortions.  Now I will get off my soapbox!  They are making everybody have insurance including the church if they employee more than 30 people.  Isn’t putting a number with it discrimination?  Like if you don’t have this number you won’t make it?  I understand why they do it, but it doesn’t make sense.  Isn’t everybody capable of the same thing only in a different way?

That’s why I also hate tryouts.  I know they have to eliminate in some way, but why call it try outs?  Why not make it tests?  I know try outs are tests, but why don’t they call it test out instead of try outs?  But then again it’s a play on words no matter how you put it.  I don’t know how to solve this and I don’t know if we can solve it or if we want to solve it or if it will become a bigger problem if we solve it than to not solve it.  That’s just my thought pattern.  Everybody is allowed to say what they think still aren’t they?  If I am wrong…sue me!  But you won’t get anything out of me because I’m dead poor.  Because once again the government doesn’t know how to leave my pockets alone.  They don’t know how to let the handicap to be able to get a job.  But that’s a whole nother story.

Mom Shares Remarkable Story of ‘Mono Mono’ Twins

Another miracle! This is one of those I hope everything continues to go forward and live a long and healthy life. I hope they live their life to be old seniors holding hands with their future husbands maybe even themselves. As they take eachother down the wedding isle to give one another away!! But until then please keep giving this family lots of prayers. I want everybody to be praying with me and saying those prayers. Will you or will you not is the big question? No matter if you do or not I will definetly be praying for this family. because without prayers I wouldn’t be here and it will be the same for them. I also pray that they don’t have any handicaps and that they will be able to live I’m sorry for saying this but they will live to be normal human beings.

AKRON Ohio – Sarah Thistlethwait of Orville held her newborn daughters again on Monday, visiting them in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Akron Children’s hospital.

Jillian and Jenna were born on Friday, 33 weeks into a pregnancy they had a better chance of not surviving.

The newborns are mono-mono twins.

Such twins are very rare, sharing the same placenta and the same amniotic sack during pregnancy.

As a result, Akron Children’s Hospital Neonatologist Dr. Anand Kandak says the chances are great for life-threatening complications.

“There is always a higher chance that one or both may not survive the pregnancy. There is also the possibility that neither or both of them survive the period as a newborn infant. There is also a possibility of consequences of being born with complications that may hinder their progress including development for the rest of their life,” said Kandak.

We were once born into Christ.  If you were baptise, you were born into Christ.  This may sound weird but if you do remain loyal you will be reborn with Christ when you pass over.  You may have to spend time in Purgatory.  Or God may tell you, “Well done good and faithful servant.”  Hopefully I will receive the second one.  How do you think you are doing in serving your Lord?  Hopefully you will think back on your life about a lot of good parts and bad.   Out of both parts you should be able to receive lots of grace while looking back on your life.   Should be able to see why your life turned out the way it did.   If not,  just be happy it turned out the way it did.  If it, your life, did not turn out the way you wanted, you should be able to see some points that will turn your life around.  If you choose to take action related to your past, your future will change.  Again hopefully for the better.  At least that is what I will be praying.  Grace is something that you can’t live without.  So were always recieving some type of grace from God infact even when we cross over I think we will still recieve Grace from God so as long as God is in out life we will be recieving Grace for eternity.  I know eternity is a long time, but that is what I believe.  I believe Heaven is another step in our life and this earthly world is just the first step in our life.  As always you followers will be in my prayers and I might add to my posts every now and then so just be aware, or just subscribe to my blog through through my email every time as I post you will find it on my blog, if not I would appreciate it, it someone would tell me so that I can fix it, thanks!  Jon

I like it when I can be myself.  Like it because it makes me feel good.  I like it when I can joke with someone and know they are not going to take offense.  Unfortunatelly for me, friendship and trust take along time to mature.  Sometimes when I am waiting on this maturitysomething happens that stops this process and puts a wall in between my friends.  I hate when this happens because of my handicap.  They choose to walk away from the situation instead investing the energy to work together on the friendship.  I consider this a loss for both parties.  I look at a friendship like a partnership.  I am going to us the anallegy.  I hope noone take offense by this.  I think a friendship  is similar to a marriage.  Where you both have to give something to receive benefit out of this friendship.  If you don’t, your friendship is not going to last very long.  May not be a true friendship but rather just an aquaintance.  What I am telling you is to take the time to observe everyone of your friendships to see if they are true friendships or just an acquaintances.  Because if they are acquaintances they may develop into friendships or they may just stay acquaintances. This may remain just situation of causual greeting on the street.  Which is not necessarily bad.  But too many of these can lead to depression.  Depression is something you want to try to avoid at all costs if  possible.  My friends, I leave you in the middle of a thought but I have nothing else to add and I kinda want you to mediate on these thoughts and add to my thoughts on this.  I want to know what you think friendship and why you think that?  Wether or not you agree or disagree with me.  As always you followers will be in my prayers and thoughts as I go throug my day.

How Merciful is God?

May 15, 2012 at 4:07am

Would we be in trouble with God if He knew what we do at work?  Considering what He did with the laborers in the fields. He gave the same wage to everyone at the end of the day.  No matter how long or hard they worked.  It did not matter whether they worked an hour or ten hours.   Sitting back and enjoying His creations until one of us does something bad and He marks it in His diary.  I think we have to revisit that diary before we get the keys to the heavenly kingdom.  Wouldn’t you be surprised if Hiltler showed up in that heavenly kingdom?  That is how merciful I thing God is.

Gospel Mt 5:20-26

Jesus said to his disciples:”I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter into the Kingdom of heaven.

“You have heard that it was said to your ancestors,You shall not kill; and whoever kills will be liable to judgment. But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment, and whoever says to his brother,’Raqa,’ will be answerable to the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, “You fool,” will be liable to fiery Gehenna. Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar,go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him.Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge, and the judge will hand you over to the guard, and you will be thrown into prison.Amen, I say to you,you will not be released until you have paid the last penny.”

“Carma” can be a life changing event  you can like that outcome or dislike the outcome.  It is just like this.  What Jesus is talking about only in words of His time.  Everything that you do can come back to you tenfold.  If it is positive, you will get a positive return.  But if it is negative, your return will be negative and it may not be something you would like.  What I have figured out is everything I do comes back to me.  We do not know when or how this will happen.  But I have come to know that everything does come back to me.  If you attract positive, you get positive.  If you attract negative, you will get negative. As result, you will bring your family members either up or down with you.

We always want people to treat us good!

May 13, 2012 at 1:22am

We always want what’s best for our family and friends but we don’t see them the same all the time, imagine if we did?  It all boils down to you have to love one another like you would love yourself and sometimes that is odd because sometimes you don’t love yourselve so therefore it’s hard to love that other person the same all the time.  When all you see is their faults, somehow you need to figure out a way to concentrate on your good points to concentrate on other’s.   Jesus said love your neighbor as you would love yourself.  You don’t have to love everybody, you just have to put up with them.  If you don’t love them remember your not breaking that commitment, Jesus has a lot of patience.  So you know it may take you a while, I would like for you to look around and see the people that you don’t get along with and try to get along with the people you do not get along with.

Brothers and sisters: Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh;  on the contrary, you are in the spirit,  if only the Spirit of God dwells in you. Whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you,  although the body is dead because of sin,  the spirit is alive because of righteousness. If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,  the one who raised Christ from the dead  will give life to your mortal bodies also,  through his Spirit dwelling.  (Here you will get a new body)

The sisters of Lazarus sent word to Jesus, saying,  “Master, the one you love is ill.” When Jesus heard this he said, “This illness is not to end in death,  but is for the glory of God,  that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So when he heard that he was ill,  he remained for two days in the place where he was. Then after this he said to his disciples,  +Let us go back to Judea.”

When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus  had already been in the tomb for four days. When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him;  but Mary sat at home. Martha said to Jesus,  “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.( Right there they know whatever happens to their brother it will be all right.  Don’t you wish we had that much faith?) But even now I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise.” Martha said, “I know he will rise, in the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life;  whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live,  and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” She said to him, “Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the one who is coming into the world.”

He became perturbed and deeply troubled, and said,  “Where have you laid him?” They said to him, “Sir, come and see.” And Jesus wept. So the Jews said, “See how he loved him.” But some of them said,  “Could not the one who opened the eyes of the blind man  have done something so that this man would not have died?”

So Jesus, perturbed again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay across it. Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the dead man’s sister, said to him,  “Lord, by now there will be a stench;  he has been dead for four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believe  you will see the glory of God?” So they took away the stone. And Jesus raised his eyes and said,  “Father, I thank you for hearing me. I know that you always hear me;  but because of the crowd here I have said this,  that they may believe that you sent me.” And when he had said this, He cried out in a loud voice,  “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, tied hand and foot with burial bands,  and his face was wrapped in a cloth. So Jesus said to them, “Untie him and let him go.”

Now many of the Jews who had come to Mary and seen what he had done began to believe in him. in you.

The body is an earthly temple for the spirit.  When we are raised up on the last day, our bodies become whole.  Just like the Creator wanted it to be.  Just because our bodies died does not mean our spirits died.  They do one of three things.  They can go straight to hell, or straight to heaven, or to purgatory.  Purgatory in my eyes is like “the Yellow Brick Road” where the “Wizard of Oz” is sitting on a throne and an angel is standing by two curtains.  When you first get there, the curtains are red.  If you have been good, they pull back the curtains and you join God forever.  If you are in purgatory, the red curtains get pulled back where another set of curtains, white but not clear, are seen.  If you are in this situation, you better hope that people on earth are praying for you.  Because, now besides you praying for yourself.  You are depending on other people’s prayers to get you to heaven.  If you get enough prayers, you will go to God forever.  If you are unfortunate in your life, instead of a clear curtain the devil will cover up with a black curtain.  You know where your Savior is.  No matter how hard you try you will not be able to reach Him, get to Him or see Him.  If by chance, you get to heaven it will not be last time you see earth.  I imagine Heaven is a big circle with another circle encompassing it.  Any time you enter the smaller circle you go back in time with God.  With God time does not exist.  Therefore, every time we celebrate the Last Supper.  It really is the Last Supper.  For a moment in time, heaven and earth do combine.

You have to be ready at any moment’s notice which most of you are as far as I can tell.  Because joining the church is a big step.  I know other people that say they are going to join the church but never have.  Other people have joined the church, but they do not practice their faith.  Boy, are they in for a big surprise!  Because Jesus said, “If you are in me, I will be in you.  You will have a house in heaven.”  You may think you are ready to go to heaven, but no one is truly ready to do their final judgment.  When the angels come with God, sometimes people go peacefully or sometimes they go fighting all the way.  Sometimes all they are waiting for is their priest to give them their Last Rights before they will go peacefully.  Sometimes they are just waiting for everybody to say good bye.  The morale of the story is treat everybody like you want to be treated.  At the end of the night, don’t go to bed angry.  Because you may not get a chance to fix it in the morning.

Facts About the Americans with Disabilities Act

March 23, 2012 at 2:16pm

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

Facts About the Americans with Disabilities Act

Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 prohibits private employers, state and local governments, employment agencies and labor unions from discriminating against qualified individuals with disabilities in job application procedures, hiring, firing, advancement, compensation, job training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment. The ADA covers employers with 15 or more employees, including state and local governments. It also applies to employment agencies and to labor organizations. The ADA’s nondiscrimination standards also apply to federal sector employees under section 501 of the Rehabilitation Act, as amended, and its implementing rules.

An individual with a disability is a person who:

Has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities;

Has a record of such an impairment; or

Is regarded as having such an impairment.

A qualified employee or applicant with a disability is an individual who, with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of the job in question. Reasonable accommodation may include, but is not limited to:

Making existing facilities used by employees readily accessible to and usable by persons with disabilities.

Job restructuring, modifying work schedules, reassignment to a vacant position;

Acquiring or modifying equipment or devices, adjusting or modifying examinations, training materials, or policies, and providing qualified readers or interpreters.

An employer is required to make a reasonable accommodation to the known disability of a qualified applicant or employee if it would not impose an “undue hardship” on the operation of the employer’s business. Reasonable accommodations are adjustments or modifications provided by an employer to enable people with disabilities to enjoy equal employment opportunities. Accommodations vary depending upon the needs of the individual applicant or employee. Not all people with disabilities (or even all people with the same disability) will require the same accommodation. For example:

A deaf applicant may need a sign language interpreter during the job interview.

An employee with diabetes may need regularly scheduled breaks during the workday to eat properly and monitor blood sugar and insulin levels.

A blind employee may need someone to read information posted on a bulletin board.

An employee with cancer may need leave to have radiation or chemotherapy treatments.

An employer does not have to provide a reasonable accommodation if it imposes an “undue hardship.” Undue hardship is defined as an action requiring significant difficulty or expense when considered in light of factors such as an employer’s size, financial resources, and the nature and structure of its operation.

An employer is not required to lower quality or production standards to make an accommodation; nor is an employer obligated to provide personal use items such as glasses or hearing aids.

An employer generally does not have to provide a reasonable accommodation unless an individual with a disability has asked for one. if an employer believes that a medical condition is causing a performance or conduct problem, it may ask the employee how to solve the problem and if the employee needs a reasonable accommodation. Once a reasonable accommodation is requested, the employer and the individual should discuss the individual’s needs and identify the appropriate reasonable accommodation. Where more than one accommodation would work, the employer may choose the one that is less costly or that is easier to provide.

Title I of the ADA also covers:

Medical Examinations and InquiriesEmployers may not ask job applicants about the existence, nature, or severity of a disability. Applicants may be asked about their ability to perform specific job functions. A job offer may be conditioned on the results of a medical examination, but only if the examination is required for all entering employees in similar jobs. Medical examinations of employees must be job related and consistent with the employer’s business needs.

Medical records are confidential. The basic rule is that with limited exceptions, employers must keep confidential any medical information they learn about an applicant or employee. Information can be confidential even if it contains no medical diagnosis or treatment course and even if it is not generated by a health care professional. For example, an employee’s request for a reasonable accommodation would be considered medical information subject to the ADA’s confidentiality requirements.

Drug and Alcohol AbuseEmployees and applicants currently engaging in the illegal use of drugs are not covered by the ADA when an employer acts on the basis of such use. Tests for illegal drugs are not subject to the ADA’s restrictions on medical examinations. Employers may hold illegal drug users and alcoholics to the same performance standards as other employees.

It is also unlawful to retaliate against an individual for opposing employment practices that discriminate based on disability or for filing a discrimination charge, testifying, or participating in any way in an investigation, proceeding, or litigation under the ADA.

Federal Tax Incentives to Encourage the Employment of People with Disabilities and to Promote the Accessibility of Public Accommodations

The Internal Revenue Code includes several provisions aimed at making businesses more accessible to people with disabilities. The following provides general – non-legal – information about three of the most significant tax incentives. (Employers should check with their accountants or tax advisors to determine eligibility for these incentives or visit the Internal Revenue Service’s website,, for more information. Similar state and local tax incentives may be available.)

Small Business Tax Credit (Internal Revenue Code Section 44: Disabled Access Credit)Small businesses with either $1,000,000 or less in revenue or 30 or fewer full-time employees may take a tax credit of up to $5,000 annually for the cost of providing reasonable accommodations such as sign language interpreters, readers, materials in alternative format (such as Braille or large print), the purchase of adaptive equipment, the modification of existing equipment, or the removal of architectural barriers.

Work Opportunity Tax Credit (Internal Revenue Code Section 51)Employers who hire certain targeted low-income groups, including individuals referred from vocational rehabilitation agencies and individuals receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) may be eligible for an annual tax credit of up to $2,400 for each qualifying employee who works at least 400 hours during the tax year. Additionally, a maximum credit of $1,200 may be available for each qualifying summer youth employee.

Architectural/Transportation Tax Deduction (Internal Revenue Code Section 190 Barrier Removal): This annual deduction of up to $15,000 is available to businesses of any size for the costs of removing barriers for people with disabilities, including the following: providing accessible parking spaces, ramps, and curb cuts; providing wheelchair-accessible telephones, water fountains, and restrooms; making walkways at least 48 inches wide; and making entrances accessible.

What would you say if God walked into your office?  And He would say, “Lay your stuff down and come follow me.”  “I have something I want you to do.”  I would say, “What is it?”  And then I would think back and my answer would be.  Yes, I would follow because He has set a good example in the Bible.  But you would have to trust Him with your whole heart and being.

I would therefore be ready to give you my example.  When the angel, appeared to Mary and said you will conceive a son.  And Mary replied, “How can that be when I have had no relationship with a man?”  What He says in next part, personally I would have fainted. The Holy Spirit will come down and you will conceive a son.  Her reply, your will, will be done.  I think we need to be more like her example.  Do whatever the Holy Spirit asks of us and not be afraid.  Not go with our mind but with our hearts.  This could resolve many of the world’s problems.

God says when someone is sick.  Call all the people and have them pray over them.  If it’s God’s will, he will be healed.  But if it is not His will they will have the grace to follow Him up to their heavenly home. People says this is the stopping point on our journey to see if we are full of grace enough to get to heaven.  No one knows for sure until we get in front of our Creator.   You must remember that Christ did die for our sins.  In doing this action he said as long as you believe in me you will always have eternal life.  Therefore we will never truly die.  Our bodies may deteriorate and decompose but we will always have our soul, which lives eternally.    In Christ we have to believe He will never let us down.  Even when we get in our deepest sorrow, He will find a way to bring us out of our despair.

One Body

January 3, 2012 at 2:31am

We need to keep an Easter candle burning brightly in our hearts so we can light other people’s candles in their hearts.  And keep the living word alive.  To do this, we need more priests and ministers so we do not have to go back to the underground church.  I am asking you to pray for all churches to come back into unity as one body in Christ.

Guidelines for IF YOU ARE IN TROUBLE

December 28, 2011 at 1:20am

Some things are hard to believe but some of the easy things to believe we can’t see.  So does that mean not seeing is not believing?  The easy things to believe are right in front of our face but you cannot see them.  So we choose not to believe in them.  Or we go on like it does not exist.  And the things we can see, we believe in them because we can see them in the physical.  For instance, there are two different types of abuse.  There is physical abuse and mental abuse.  The major difference in physical you can see and mental you cannot see.  The mental is alot harder for a person to see and deal with.  So what, I would do is call in something you may not believe in.  Because you cannot see it or feel it.  It is called the Holy Spirit.  We can feel it but not like reaching out and touching it.  It just comes over us.  Like a warm blanket on a cool afternoon.  Another thing I would do is get down on my knees and pray.  If you do this, you may find your days will go alot easier.  You will not have the worries you had before because you are not carrying them alone.  The Holy Spirit is your companion.

My questions

June 21, 2011 at 12:46am

Does anybody else wonder what heaven is like? I do but I also have a lot of other questions that I will never know the answer. It is kind of like we will never know the full meaning of the trinity. Until we get up to heaven. Until we have our life shown to us by the Lord. We will never know the full meaning of our life. Or have our many questions answered. Or know how many lives we have touched. Even those people who only had a couple of years on this earth, touch each others lives in ways that they don’t even know. Thank you Ashley Craft for touching my life even today. God rest her soul.

Our gift

June 14, 2011 at 12:46am

Has everyone forgot how to use their gift for the benefit of everyone else? If everyone would use their gift for the good of everyone else, our Creator would be pleased. This past weekend was the birthday of the Catholic church. All the disciple got the power to speak in different tongues but when they spoke the town’s people understood them in their individual languages. The first disciples were not afraid to use their gifts. Why are we so afraid to use our gifts? I think it is because everyone is afraid to offend their fellow man; because they don’t know what faith they are. God did not want several religions but one faith for all mankind. I think we need to stop worrying about everyone’s faith and get back to using our gift for the good of everyone.

Is this a miracle or what?A bus full of Austrian pilgrims crashed in Croatia on Wed., but nobody got injured.

The bus full of Austrians was heading to Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina when it smashed into a fence along the highway close to Sestanovac in southern Croatia. There were 47 pilgrims on the bus.

Medjugorje marks the 30th anniversary since the apparition of the Virgin Mary to six school children as reported

What does this mean for the world?

Click here for today’s newsLetters: 31 May Ta’ziyah         Shahadna ANN and al-Jazeerah Libyans rule Libya

Wednesday: 31 May, 2000: “America relies on cruise missiles for conducting its relations with the rest of the world,” Mu’ammar al-Qadhafi said. “These are outdated methods and bankrupt programs that have no future.” In a wide-ranging interview, Qadhafi denied Libyan involvement in terrorist activities and dismissed the 1988 Pan Am Flight 103 bombing as “something of the past.” Pointing to his decision last year to surrender the two Libyan suspects in the case to Scottish courts, he said the next U.S. administration would be compelled to normalize relations with Libya or stand “accused of racism and spite.”

Asked whether Libya would pay compensation to the families of the Lockerbie victims if the two defendants were found guilty, Qadhafi replied that this would be determined by the court. “We’ll see the ruling of the court and whether compensation is being asked for from those who have been convicted, or from their families or from their tribe or from the state,” he said. He then turned the question around: “Suppose the two suspects are acquitted. Will Libya ask to be compensated for the billions of dollars we have lost because of the embargo and because of this groundless accusation?” he said. Libya claims the UN sanctions, which were imposed in 1992, have cost the country $33 billion.

The Libyan leader said he was personally acquainted with the Internet, that he has an e-mail address (which he does not give out), and wondered aloud how he might communicate directly to the American people through the Internet. “I hope that I will find a forum to talk to the Americans so that I can brainwash them for their own interests,” he said with a grin. He warned that the Internet was in danger of becoming “trivialized.” “Now it’s like a toy, something for fun,” he said. “Unless it is really regulated properly, and a good sensible program is adopted, the Internet will lose its value and people will just desert it and forget about it.” [Chicago Tribune]Wednesday: 31 May, 2000: [American] Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan arrived in Libya Tuesday, an Egyptian news agency reported, praising the suspension of sanctions against the North African nation after it turned over two men suspected in the 1988 bombing of an American jet. Farrakhan arrived in the capital of Tripoli for talks with the leaders of Chad, Liberia, Mali and Libya, according to the Middle East News Agency. The agency did not say what the talks with Libyan leader Mu’ammar al-Qadhafi would focus on, and Libyan spokesmen in Cairo and Tripoli could not be reached. The presidents of Chad, Liberia and Mali also arrived Tuesday in Tripoli. [AP]Wednesday: 31 May, 2000: An aluminium baggage container reconstructed after the Lockerbie bombing has been examined at the trial of two Libyans in the Netherlands. The six-foot high container and its floor panel was dismantled and then rebuilt at the request of the defence. It was originally reconstructed by Peter Claydon, from the UK’s Air Accident Investigation Branch, who gave evidence at the trial of the two men accused of bombing the New York-bound Boeing 747 in December 1988. Questioned by prosecuting counsel Alan Turnbull, QC, Mr Claydon said that in his opinion, the damage to luggage container 4041 was caused by a “high energy event” – “possibly an explosion”. There was no doubt in his mind, that the “event” occurred within the baggage container itself. [BBC]

What is your opinion

Jesus says, servants are not greater than their master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them.  Are we like our Creator, do we feed each other when we are hungry, clothe when we are  naked, or do we just not care anymore.  Are we too involved in our daily activities?  Do we have too much technology that we know everything that goes on in China including when everybody goes to the bathroom?   Should we shut down the news media in all the satelites and go back to the way it was in Jesus’ day?  I think we should.  I would like other people’s opinoin.  What do you think we should do?  Should we continue as we are and continue to tear up our room in God’s house or clean up our attitude so our children have a place to live and prosper?  Because I do believe the world is not coming to an end.  It is just the earth’s plates at the moment of weakness and change.  God is not going to correct us.  HE is just going to say “You made your bed now just lie down in it.”  Is this how we want our children to remember us?  I don’ think so!  I think that we want our children to remember us in a good way.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….

Jesus Christ is our light

Jesus said, “Trust in me and you will not perish.”  He also said, “Lose your life for me and you will be saved.”  When I think of the last saying, I think of all the military, firefighters, medics, police officers etc. who put their lives on hold for us and they are also willing to give their lives at a moments notice.  I just want to send my graditude & thanks to all unsung heroes out there.  If you know anyone that fits this category, I challenge you to post this to your profile for just one hour.

1.  Finda quiet place to study.  Don’t try to do twenty things at once.

2.  Take short breaks.

3.  Turn off all cellphones & pagers.  And also have soft quiet music in the background.

4.  Do not be afraid to use study groups.

5.  When you do not understand something, ask collegiates & friends.  DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS.  No            question is foolish.  Do not be afraid to ask your professor.

6.  Ask collegiates & friends what pofessors to look for & what professors to stay away from.  Believe it or not this does help.

7.  Do not alleniate your parents.  They are really your best friends.  Even when you do not think they are.  Some parents are even your pocket books therefore watch what you do & say.  There are consequences.

Your Light

February 12, 2011 at 12:59pm

If I could give you anything as you graduate from college, I would give you a candle that burns as brightly as the light within you, the light you are… I would tell you to keep it burning, no matter what. I would say dont let the well-intentioned extinguish it. Dont let th mean-spirited blow it out. Dont let your light flicker and fade because of everyday challenges and concerns. The world is large and no one can illuminate it alone, but it is amazing how a single candle, burning brightly, can light so many others. The world needs your light. Hold your candle high.

Would we be in trouble with God if He knew what we do at work?  Considering what He did with the laborers in the fields. He gave the same wage to everyone at the end of the day.  No matter how long or hard they worked.  It did not matter whether they worked an hour or ten hours.  I see Him as mentioned in a previous note, a merciful and loving God.  Sitting back and enjoying His creations until one of us does something bad and He marks it in His diary.  I think we have to revisit that diary before we get the keys to the heavenly kingdom.  Wouldn’t you be surprised if Hitler showed up in that heavenly kingdom?

Pray please for somebody who was in a car accident.  She is in a lot of pain and home.  But she has  to wear a neck brace until she can get into a spinal cord specialist later this week.  And pray for her coworkers who were in the car with her.  No clue how the coworkers are doing.  Another car ran a stop sign and hit their car head on. Hoping for a good report today she goes to the doctor today.  Last night she was dealing with a lot of pain.  She was at least home.  I think she was feeling like she wasn’t able to do much because she was on facebook and she usually is out doing stuff with the horses.  So I think she was actually bored to death.  I hope this is permanent!  Because if it is it will be a huge life style change.  That’s the latest that I have.
